2 egg whites
11/2 cups of sugar
1/4 tsp cream of tartar or tablespoon of karo syrup
1/3 c cold water
1tsp vanilla
Mix egg whites, sugar, cream of tartar
for one minute, then put on double boiler, water should be boiling,
and top pan should not touch the water.
and beat for 7 minutes, or until you get stiff peaks,
take off heat and beat in vanilla.
