Ingredients
1 9 inch pie crush baked
1 quart fresh stawberries
1 c white sugar
3 T cornstarch
3/4 c water
Directions.
- Arrange half of the strawberries in a baked pie crust. Mash remaining berries and combine with sugar in a saucepan. Place over medium heat and bring to boil, stirring constantly.
- In a small bowl whish together cornstarch and water. Gradually stir conrstarch mixture into boiling strawberry mixture.
- Reduce heat and simmer until mixture is thickened. About 10 minutes. Stir constantly.
- Pour mixture over berries in the pie shell.
- Chill for several hours before serving
- Serve with Cool Whip or Whipped Cream
